Vamos Antigua!

We blogged about going to futbol (soccer) games a few months ago, but I just wanted to post a photo of what we look like now! Willa is now a fan too. (Sadie always was.) I even got a team t-shirt for Christmas! Brett’s sideways hat is not a fashion statement, but instead it’s to keep the sun out of his eyes. Once the game started, we were no longer in the sun, but we had to get there early and it was very hot that day!

This was at the 1st national championship game in Dec. They hold 2 games here, 1 at each team’s location, and add up the goals to determine the winner. Antigua played Municipales, which is a team from Guatemala City. Unfortunately Antigua lost. But we are looking forward to the next season which starts in Jan or Feb.
